Tagged Under : , , ,

The wold of gaming is livelier with Star craft, the game that has made waves among novice and expert gamers. Once a player gets the hang of this game, they cannot help but continue. The game offers choice, in terms of which race you will join and how you will play on the strengths of that race. If you’ve played Star craft and you want to improve your playing a bit more, you can learn to play the Terran race.

In Star craft, you often start with a race that you can use to learn about the game. Terrans are the representatives of real humans in Star craft. Humans are always a part of any science fiction game or story. In Star craft, Terrans show a lot of what a human would. The land of the Terrans is filled with representations of places and buildings you can see in real life. If you’re playing the Terran race, you can do with a guide.

A lot of Star craft players use guides to get the most of their game time. You will need help in the game play, particularly since Terrans are flexible in terms of strategy and offensive power. using a good guide, you can immediately learn how to attack and defend. Terrans have the ability to attack from the air or ground. It does not cost much to construct a Terran stronghold.

When compared to the Protoss race, constructing units of Terran is easier. The battle strategy for the Terran race will be mostly made up of constructing defenses like supply centers and walls. The idea is to prepare your units well, so that your defenses won’t crumble easily. Zergs are also cheap when it comes to rapid construction, like terrans.

Most Terran structures are extremely mobile, which means movement between base units and expansion units is more effortless than you think. The only thing with building Terran structures is mastering the controls. Hot key mastery is trickier when you’re using Terran, instead of Zerg or Protoss. But with a guide to refer to, you can avoid spending too much time on mastering controls. There are so many strategies for playing the Terran race, which will maximize the flexibility of this race.

Dungeon Leveling Strategy for WoW

Tagged Under : , , , ,

Most individuals who play Warcraft understand which dungeon leveling is the quickest way to level, but not everybody is aware of the best way to get the most out of the dungeon finder system.  You’ve got to have a dungeon method to make the most from each and every run, and it doesn’t hurt to have leveling guides to assist you, either.

The very best way to develop your own Warcraft dungeon approach is to get a complete understanding of the system, how it works, and why dungeon leveling is the fastest way to level up .  Dungeon leveling essentially includes leveling your character by running chains of dungeons with other players.  It’s now easier than ever to do that, because of the dungeon finder tool which was part of patch 3.3 of the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion.  The dungeon finder permits you to party with players from other servers, even if you are on a low population server or during your server’s off times.

Comin up with your dungeon strategy is dependent at least partly on which variety of class you are playing.  The damage classes (DPS)  will generally  have to wait in line (the queue) much longer than healing and tanking classes, so it’s absolutely worth it to solo quest while you’re waiting for your dungeon group to form.  Tanks, on the other hand, may be able to sit around in town and easily pop in and out of dungeons all day long because there are far fewer tanks than there are damage classes, and the wait time is far less (and is sometimes zero.)  Healers are also in elevated demand, though typically not quite as much as tanks. Their queue times will also be much shorter than that of DPS classes

As a damage dealer (DPS) your job is merely to lay down the damage on the opposition (mobs) being assaulted by your group. You need to be aware of damaging effects dropped by the mobs and stay from them, and you need to be mindful of when the opponent leaves the tank to come for you. Having a method to drop aggro, such as the Hunter’s “Feign Death,” will come in handy here.

As a healer your principal job is to concentrate on the tank, however, particularly in the high level dungeons, there is a lot of additional damage being thrown about and some tanks have problems maintaining the attention of all the mobs. This suggests that your DPS can be getting damage, as well, even if these folks do understand how to stay out of the fire.

As a tank your job is to maintain 100% of the opposition’s attention at all times, especially if it’s the leader. If the mobs lay down piles of corrosive glop then you want to pull the mobs away from that place. If the boss shoots out area effect blasts then you should make sure the mob is facing away from the team. You should additionally do every thing it is possible  to increase your damage mitigation and avoidance, that will make your healer’s job simpler.

Don’t Skip Your Dungeon Quests

Prior to the Cataclysm release you would grab the dungeon quests in your regular questing and with some stops to the big city. The way it works now is significantly less difficult. Once you enter the dungeon you should find the mission givers ready to talk to you and offer you your jobs. Even in the Cataclysm dungeons.

Instance leveling is a excellent way to carry your character from level 1 to 85 with considerably less time and effort than it needed in the beginning days of WoW.  You’ll find yourself hopping from dungeon to dungeon and level to level with ease.

Warriors in Cataclysm

Tagged Under : , , , ,

The World of Warcraft has been remade with the Cataclysm expansion. New races have been added (Goblins, master merchants, and Worgen, the Werewolves,) and most of the races now have access to classes that they never had before (Humans and Hunters, for example.) Tthe talent system has been completely revised and  few classes (eg: Hunters and Paladins) had significant changes made to their mechanics. Throughout it all, the WoW Warrior remains steadfast, true, and largely the same as before, despite new talents and abilities.

The changes to the talent system certainly rank as one of the biggest Cataclysm changes, at least as far as the actual characters are concerned. While all characters have the same three Specialzations, their actual talents and the talent system have changed. It used to be that, by level 80, one would get 71 talent points to spend. Now its just 41 points by, level 85, and there are fewer talents. This actually makes things easier. In addition to that you will be locked into your spec when you pick it at level 10. You will be unable to buy any talents in any other spec until youi have spent 31 points in the one you picked. For example, if you choose to be an Arms Warrior you will be unable to spend points in FUr or Protection until after level 69, when you will have spent your 31st talent point.

The other big talent change for Warriors, and all others, is that you get some unique abilities when you pick your spec and you get access to a “Mastery” ability (from your trainer at level 80.) Mastery has unique effects for each class and each spec and those effects boost a primary mechanic of your spec. All of these special abilities, including Mastery, are in addition to the general class abilities.

Like other WoW classes there are definite differences between specs. For those who like precise use of two-handed weapon the Arms spec is the way to go. Arms deals plenty of damage and is a good all-around build. Fury is more for the berserker type and has a number of abilities that work with a berserkers “enraged” outlook. Like Arms, Fury can deal the hurt. For those who like to stand between the group and the boss monster the Warrior Protection spec is the only way to go. This spec has massive damage mitigation and can stand for a long time against brutal punishment.

The special abilities for the Arms Warrior are: Mortal Strike, which smashes your opponent as well as reducing possible healing of the opponent; Anger Management, which provide more of what a Warrior always wants (Rage;) Two Handed Weapon Specialization, which lets you do even more damage with two-handed weapons; and Mastery: Strkes of Opportunity, which allows for a free strike from time to time.

For Fury, the special abilities are: Bloodthirst, which is an instant attack and a small heal; Dual Weild Specialization, which increases your total damage as well as that of your off-hand weapon; Precision, which increases your chance “to hit” with your weapons; and Mastery: Unshackled Fury, which makes all of youir “Enraged” abilities more effective.

For Protection, your specials are: Sield Slam, you whack the opponent with your shield and really get their attention; Sentinel, which increases your Stamina as well as your Block chance; Vengence, your damage increases as you take damage; Mastery: Critical Block, makes your blocking more effective.

Which is the best spec? That depends on what you want to do and It also depends on which buffs and nerfs Blizzard has been posting recently. Once spec will be great at one point, then the nerfs hit or something changes and now the other spec “is best.” If Fury is the best PvP spec now it isn’t so far ahead that a more skilled Arms Warrior won’t kick his… you get the idea.

The only answer that most people agree with is that Fury is generally the best leveling spec and that Protection is the only spec to take if you’re going to be the tank in the various instances or raids. As far as generating straight-up damage and PvP, well, people have been arguing that for a long time and any answer that is correct now will probably change with the next patch. So if you’re not the tank then would you rather wield two weapons or one?
